Such a beautiful game! Simple but so so satisfying <3What shader did you use?
Just a simple shader. One pass to detect the screen pos of a frag, if in left then give one color, if in right give another color. And another pass is the outline by pushing vertex along the normal, the outline's color is opposite with the frag.
